Just an encouraging word

We are all beleaguered....
tired of school ...
staring out the window at the beautiful fall weather,
wishing for a release.

Believe me, I understand.

Since I don't have the power to change the universe or its schedule, I'll stick with this:

Let me know how I can help lighten the load.

And know that I truly appreciate all your hard work
... the way you've all tackled your scenes with enthusiasm
... your great attitude toward Midsummer Night's Dream.
And the fact that you show up to drama class and have a blast. That's worth the price of my paycheck, I tell ya.

Can't wait to see these scenes .... cause they're gonna rock. =)

got any suggestions for "something different"??

actually, I do have something planned that we've not done before (although I did it with the 7th grade last year).... but it's not meant to be hilarious or anything.

maybe we can try Scenes from a Hat. I dunno... I'll think on it ...

can we have a week of just drama

I think we should! We could call it "DRAMA BOOT CAMP", and it would be a great antidote to all of our almost-Thanksgiving-restlessness. Now, how to convince the other teachers... ;-)

Hey...I could write a bill on why the teachers should let us have a week of drama...OUTSIDE!!! Anyone have any suggestions for what we should do to the teachers that go against the bill by protesting and giving homework! :)

That eye-contact game we play in drama can be hard. It's really good for me, because I tend to glance away when I'm talking to people....That's a random comment for you :).

Good idea..
and I have some cows and horses at my house. We can make the closet as full as possible! :) Before we stick them in we can feather and tar them with PB and coco-puffs!
