Fantastic work, y'all. ... Truly
I was very happy with what I saw in auditions yesterday and today. In fact, I'm sure Midsummer is going to just rock. Wow. This is going to be a blast.
Even the audition scenes were giving me ideas for blocking & staging. I look forward to turning you guys loose to improv those situations and dig into Shakespeare's lines ... good things will follow.
Likewise with the PTO meeting tonight ... Wow again. You guys were awesome! So many parents thought you were witty & funny & hilarious & creative & talented .... But I already knew that. It was nice to show you off, though. :)
but I should stop lest you get a big head. :p
OK, back to work.
Make sure you read the post below this one.
Make sure you're doing a line rehearsal EVERY day until you have your scene lines down cold.
Make sure you do two rehearsal sessions this week before Friday's drama class (not counting any rehearsals we do in drama class this week).
Much love to you all. I am humbled & amazed that the Lord has given me this opportunity to work with you. I'd do it for free.
I'm praying for you -- I know this is stress time.

FIRST COMMENT! *ahem* yeah, i'm so freakin tired now though. After several hours of drama in one day, i'm definitely worn out. Haha, it was alot of massive fun though. I am quite excited to see the cast list for MND. Peace.
and i still don't know my lines.
Hooray! I had lots of fun today, but it's no joke about the whole "stress time" thing...I need to get off the computer and do homework! :-D
Auditions were good! I am excited about the play!!! It is going to rock! Great cast list...you did a good job assigning parts Mrs. Ramey! Lots of work...but it will be fun!

Good job Mrs. Ramey.
and b/c you gave us applause, I'm going to applaud you....*applause*
Have a good day!
I am happy about the aduitions and the callbacks were great. Expecially for Mr. Spear doing his falseto and Aaron rolling over laughing was just plain fun. I think that MND is really and truly is going to be awesome.
Wow, Tuesday was a blast but by the end I was tired! When I tried to stand up straight my legs shook, but rock on drama!
You folks who survived that long day along with the PTO drama presentation deserve a pat on the back, a round of applause, and some bonus points.
Lucky for you, I can do something about bonus points.
And I shall not even nag you about your scenes tomorrow. We'll have (I hope) a fun-filled, entertaining day in drama class ... and hit the scenes on Friday. I think we all need a break ...
My compliments to all those who rocked in the auditions. Kudos to all those losers who have to memorize a bunch of lines MUAHAHAHA...oh wait...that wouold be me..

WoW, I've missed alot this week! When are we gonna do our scenes?? and since the silver chair is of the narnian realm, how many times are we gonna perform it? one for the class and one for 3rd/4th grade? i'm kinda confused about that, but i guess it doesn't matter much right now...hopefully i'll get to come 2morrow!
Monday and Tuesday totally wore me out! Everthing was very fun. Mrs. Ramey, you did a great job on the cast list; this play is going to be wonderful!!!
