Congratulations ... and Enjoy the Break!
Ya worked hard.
Ya need a break.
So here:
1) goof off a lot
2) learn your MND lines--off-book date is Jan 9!
(Yes, those two things can peacefully coexist. ;)
I'm taking one more drama blog grade for this week. Otherwise, your grade is what you see on TeacherEase.
I'll speak to each of you individually about your grade on the scenes. We'll discuss all the great stuff you did well, plus one or two things I want you to focus on improving next semester.
Thank you for an excellent semester of work. I am very pleased with your progress and your good attitude toward tackling Midsummer.
I'll post on the blog once in a while over vacation -- feel free to drop by & leave me a note. ;)
(Most of the interesting Ramey news ends up on my Xanga .... )
Thanks for making my life cheery & bright.
Merry Christmas!

I'm working on my lines. So far I know "I hate thee and love Helena." That about sums it up. Can rehearsals count as PE? I'm definitely getting a workout.
dude. Taylor and Alicia duking it out. whoa. haha. Sam's gonna be all black and blue by february. anyhow, YOU WANT US OFFBOOK ON JANUARY NINTH?!? AAACKKKK. you know what that means? that means i ACTUALLY HAVE TO STUDY over christmas break. *sigh* best get started.....you should feel bad....heck yes you should...
Nah, I don't feel bad. I've told you-- I have a heart of stone. :p
If it makes you feel any better, over Christmas break I have to think through objectives and subtext and blocking for EVERY line in the entire play. You've got only one character to develop; I'm studying over 20.
Sounds like I need an assistant director ...
PS. Sam, we'll give you gymnastics credit for acting as Taylor's pommel horse. As for Nate's abuse -- well, that's just brotherly kindness. But I'll try to keep my chin out of your shoulder on birthday #17. :)'
haha, i guess y'all had a great rehearsal. i hope ours is good tomorrow, it prbly wont be as violent though (darnit!) but maybe its a good thing to not be bruised for once...hehe, like that'll ever happen. but yea!! for Christmas (not just the holidays!!! >:[ ) and for mnd, well not the memorizing part, but i'm so happy i have a small part, thx!
Yeah for Christmas break!!! I think I will have all my family call me Philostrate over break. :) It would be hard to have a name like that unless you were a butler or something of the sort! It will be nice to have time to work on lines without having lots of other school work to do over break!
Okay...I'll work on my lines. I think I pretty much know my lines for the scene when I argue with Oberon, but when I try to say them without the script, I forget one word and look back and lose my place and---yeah, you get the picture... :-D
yeah for break!!!! i'm getting excited about midsummer!!! tayolr & i were running lines and i realized that i know a bunch more lines then i thought! but there's still more!
so much for not being bruised, hehe
annie kate and i had an unitended, kinda thought out, not expected collision. but hey, at least i got that part of blocking down...well i guess not, but i'm trying to find something positive...it was fun...:)
I'm very glad I don't have many lines for midsummer...you guys that have lots of lines amaze me. Midsummer is gonna be great! I am so extremely happy that Christmas break is here!!!
Christmas break!!
thats great
i cant wait
