One More Thing
I forgot to mention down there (and make sure you read the post below this one) ...
STUFF
We have permission to use the room that's in between the science room & the drama room for temporary storage of props & costume items that you need for your drama scenes.
Please don't sling your stuff all over that room. Pick a tidy corner & keep it all in a small neat pile.
Please do keep anything you leave at school for your scene either in your locker or in that room. Don't leave items lying around anywhere else, including the closets upstairs or the bathrooms.
Please don't ever "borrow" an item from another person's stuff. Period. Ask permission first and every time ... and make sure if you EVER borrow someone else's stuff that you return it exactly as you found it ASAP.
HOMEWORK this week
Rehearse your scene as much as you need to for it to be solid for the workshop on Thursday/Friday. For some of you, that means every day this week ... ;)

Welcome to theater -- the rest of your life won't slow down just because you have a performance coming up. You're going to have to make it all "fit"-- homework, drama, sports, friends, time for goofing off, life in general...
The best advice I've ever been given:
You have time for what you make time for.
Plan ahead.
You'll make it through
praying for you all

duuuude. workshops friday....i'm noootttt reeeaaadddyyyy. *ahem* *...quits complaining...to you at least...* anyhoo. on a nicer note, don't you think i'm doing better with my blogging?
A more improved blogger had I never seen ere now.
*ahem*
now get back to work ...
:p
That is actually very good advice. I always say I don't have enough time to do things, but I could always eliminate something else from my day, like computer time, spending a long time at the dinner table, reading, etc...
well, it has to be kept within balance ... people are ALWAYS more important than "things" -- including school "things." And life has to include some rest & relaxation, or you'll burn yourself out.
That said, I've found that all of us can find time in any given day to do what we HAVE to do.
It's just that sometimes we put more on our "have to do list" than ought to be there. ;)
I guess me and bettina need to get our costumes together....*goes off muttering under breath*
You're right...life doesn't slow down for anything. I always put more on my "have to do list" than I should. How wise you are. :)
i dont put enough on my to do list...either that or i just dont do it...i need to work on that
now we see if we really have selfcontrol.

I love the power of the imagination.

Somedays I wish that there was 48 hours in a day. But then I remember that we would still sleep for 24 hours. That is too long to sleep! Oh well. Priorities are NOT fun to choose if you like doing a ton of things! Managing your time for me can be lots of fun for an organized person though!
thats like in MIB they have the 36 hour day "either you get ussed to it in a couple of mounths, or you have a psychotic episode." -Zed
I'm thinkin these workshops are a lil too soon to be helpful...our scene still seems to suck something awful. But hey, we'll make up what we can't remember...it's served me well thus far.
i wouldn't mind sleeping for 24 hours...but we would have like 14 hours of school and i couldn't stand that! horray for workshops tommrow!!! oh ya need to go put together my costume....humph!
